You Were Made For These Times

The quote above has such a powerful affect on me that I have brought it out again, as it conveys so much of what is happening in society and especially nowadays with all that is going on here in U.K. politics.

 

Choice

 

We’ve got so little time on earth that the biggest risk is to spend it dissatisfied!    So remember you can make any day whatever you want it to be because it’s a brand new day.    You can think, feel and experience whatever you want.     You and I are fortunate to have a choice – not so many others do in this vast, beautiful and crazy world of ours!!

 

I’d love you to imagine a world in which we are all connected – underneath we all want the same things – to be loved, respected and seen as a human being.    We would be working towards the greater good for all with people fulfilling their potential whether personally or universally, in a small or large way.  And, of course, to the world in general – all creatures and nature itself.

 

Never Enough!

 

Unfortunately our evolution hasn’t reached that stage yet. There are still too many people throughout the world who don’t have the advantage of education, financial freedom and health facilities in any shape or form.   Simply to eat and live with the bare necessities is the norm for many and even having to walk for miles for water to drink never mind bathe in.  And there are those for whom it is simply about money and even when they have more than enough, it is never enough!!

 

Enablers

 

I am lucky to know personally some who, in their own way, are enabling people in our country to bring about change in how business and education operates, and for other countries to have education, or are being shown how to use sewing machines, make jewellery, make bricks, repair things …….. in order to support themselves and so their families and even villages benefit. The ones who have quickly sprung to mind are – Rosemary Cunningham, Hildah Mulenga, Allison Marlowe, Sarah Arrow,  Jenny Anderrson, Sharon Lawlor-Jackson, Laura Morrison. ………… and all the big and small charities around these days with the latter being one woman or man bands.   My apologies to all of you reading this who are also giving support in many different ways to our earth.

 

Be the Change

 

I am saying here that, for all of use, it is time now to give back for all we’ve received  over our time on earth – we are alive!!     A simple act would be to mend the part of the world that is within your reach and through that you are adding to the critical mass that is moving towards ‘Being the Change’.

 

I would also encourage you to explore your unique potential because you have a choice to do that, and, through that in your own way (no judgements, no rights or wrongs), you are giving something back to the world. The lure of your potential has become too strong to deny any more.   To truly feel like a human being, no matter your age, is to feel appreciated, to feel your existence matters and the embodiment of your soul allowed.  This is what it’s about for me in whatever way we do that.

 

Remember you also have the choice to co-operate and connect with others as then you don’t have to feel you won’t make a difference, and there are many small, determined groups out there doing just that.

 

Going to Die

 

We are all going to die (and perhaps even our earth itself) – one way or another!!   So what are you going to do about it?   Why not focus on being the change and becoming yourself – acceptance of you in all your glory?  Why waste your time, experience and money on futile things.  Will you be one who looks back on your deathbed and says – “well at least I made myself look younger”??

 

No – you know you won’t.  Let’s make ourselves the best we can be in order to make the world the best it can be.   Who is up for that???
