What do I want to say today? First things first – You are Fine as You are. Always remember that – you are fine as you are!
Next thing is – you may feel that life is great because it is going so well and have gratitude for that, and everyone and everything in your life. What about when it is not going so good? Are you able to hold on to that gratitude? If not, then simply remember that you are alive – even if you can only manage it for a few seconds – and be grateful for that.
From this place, look at yourself. Do you see a woman moving forward or backward or even standing still? I am not going to ask you to do anything with the picture you have, except simply to acknowledge this is where you are today. Simply take a few deep breaths and honour yourself and your reality today.
My blogs are for women who have forgotten about themselves. You’ve been so busy –
- being busy
- caring for others
- establishing yourself in a career
- all of the above
There’s nothing wrong with this as most do it from choice – at least some of the time. It’s the “forgetting of ourselves” which is the cause of women settling for less.
My focus then is on women at mid-life and beyond who don’t know who they are any more, are wondering what to do with themselves, and yet are wanting to make a difference. You know there is something missing from your life.
This is where you can be encouraged and supported by like-minded women sharing their life experiences, wisdom and have a laugh.
