In my opinion, all of us at some point in our life need therapy – Children, teenagers, men and women – Landscapeeven if it can be seen by some as somehow ‘not quite right’.

However, good our life is, all of us can

feel anxious, worried and overwhelmed

at some time or another, and need to have someone to share differing things with.   It can be those times when you say,

‘I just can’t cope any more’ or

‘I just need to speak to someone outside of my friends and family’

or ‘I need help with making a decision’

or ‘I just want to share with someone about my feelings of time passing me by’

or ‘I don’t know who I am any more’ and so on.

Overwhelm

When you do look back at those pretty troubling times in your life, you are now more likely to be able to see what they were all about.  When you are in the middle of the difficulties, it can be really hard to see what is going on.

Benefits

You can really benefit from talking through your issues with a trained therapist or in a group.   It may not only be at those times of need.    It may also be when you want to share the joy of your inner spiritual life.   You will be encourage and enabled to draw out and celebrate your own inner wisdom on life.

You will also be enabled to see how your issue(s) fit into the bigger picture of life, and also where they came from in your past.

Choice

You don’t need to have therapy forever – don’t worry!    All of us have the same needs and wants as human beings regardless of how successful we might appear in the world.   It is your choice as to whether you delve in deep or leave when you have gained more awareness of yourself.   You can also choose to move on to other forms of healing after therapy or whilst undergoing it.

Attitude

The most important thing is that you are able to see that it is your attitude to life that enables you to move on and fulfil your potential.    That is why self-development is so important in whatever form you choose.

You will come away with the realisation that you don’t have to be a victim to life any more!

AND that has to be a good thing, don’t you agree?
