Isn’t the weather just going crazy here in the UK? What’s going on? It’s almost Easter and there’s snow and blizzards, freezing winds, slush, electricity still down for some, motorways closed, sporting activities called off … Then in some parts of the country, it’s dry! All in all, it’s most peculiar.
Two things are keeping me going – seeing our family at Easter, and also the prospect of meeting the lovely women who are coming on my course on 26th April. They are the sunshine that I’m allowing in to cheer me up whilst being wrapped in warm clothes doing my blog.
I have to say that the fact of staying indoors in the warmth, eating a lovely strawberry tart and generally slopping around and taking life easy beckons me greatly. You can see that there’s always something in life to cheer you up.
We don’t plan too far ahead because we live in a country where the weather affects our choices as well as our mood.
How would it be to live your life now regardless of how the weather is? What is it you’d like to do – go back to bed, lie around in your pyjamas, write in your journal or do your blog, go for long walks battling the wind or rain, catch up on chores or outstanding matters, clean out your cupboards …
Listen to your inner voice and do it – go on try it out for yourself – live your life now because if you don’t, someone else will!
Wishing you all a very lovely Easter, regardless of the weather!
