When Women Contact Me About My Retreats
I ran an Open Evening locally here in Essex last week and loved the support I got from the women who came along.
In that warm, humorous atmosphere, there were some questions obviously from those wanting more clarity on what they could expect if they actually came along to one of my 2017 Retreats here in the U.K. and Abroad. So here are some of my answers to some of the questions.
What will I discover about myself?
I’m not going to keep you in suspense and have you waiting until the end of my Blog! No, I am a kind person (!) so here are the (at least) 3 things you’ll discover –
- What you give up of yourself in order to cope with your life
- You are much more awesome than you realise!
- Celebration of ‘being’ as well as ‘doing’
Who are the kinds of Women who will be there?’
And my response is – ‘If the following resonates with you, then that’s the kind of Women who will attend’.

Having ran and also attended various kinds of Retreats over many years, I know you will also gain so much from attending mine.
Why?
- I offer you respite from the busyness of today’s hectic life to take some space for quiet reflection on getting to re-connect with yourself again
- Acknowledging who you really are will give you the ability to recognise what is working or not working for you. It also gives you permission to get back in touch with your own truth
- As you get to know yourself again, you’ll be able to assess where you are in life and what choices you have for your next step
- You’ll also have the chance to celebrate what you’ve learned so far about you and your life
- You can allow your so-called flaws and vulnerability to be shared and then you can focus honestly on all that’s good within and without you
- You’ll have the space to reflect and enjoy the company of like-minded women so you will be fed physically, emotionally and spiritually
- As you increase your sense of wellBEING, you will become more aware of what you have done, can DO and be able to celebrate being YOU
My Retreats are for women like you who want to feel excited about life and their possibilities again. And as you re-connect with yourself, you’ll begin to find the courage to take the required steps to fulfil your dreams.
Peel-off the Onion layers
I will be there to support, challenge and be alongside you as you ‘peel off layers of the onion’ (as is said). It will be up to you how much you peel off and how you deal with that experience with the combination of my longstanding expertise, warmth, humour and unexpectedness on my Retreats.
There will also be fun and laughter and by the end of our time together, you’ll know so much more about yourself (and not just the roles you may have), and become aware that confidence comes from within.
