Was that you I just heard?
Maybe you were supposed to be laughing but inside you were screaming and only you knew that.
Those of you who know what I’m talking about will know what I mean. And for those who don’t, it’s about those times when you have been hiding yourself behind the mask of whatever you think others want of you – whether at work, rest or play.
It may be that you are bored with the way your life is at the moment, with most of the rubbish on TV and in the papers, or even with the successful, or not, life you have………. Whatever it is, somewhere inside you are screaming to let yourself out.
Going to do?
So what are you going to do about it? I would suggest that you get off your backside and walk, or dance or anything – even using your energy to clean the house or do the garden, take the dog or cat for a walk!! But stop stifling yourself. It is not doing you or anyone else around you any good at all.
Let out your scream in the comfort of your own home when no one else is around – maybe with loud music or the noise of the hoover going. Then you can allow in your joy or pleasure at being alive.
Changes
You will be ready to bring about those changes that matter to you (small or large). Just do it!
Look at the women around you who have chosen to do just that. They have joined different kinds of groups in order to meet others and to find out what they are good at, how they want their lives to be and what they have to offer or expressed now they’ve allowed their scream to be heard by themselves.
Energy
Let’s go and have some fun and laughter. It’s all simply energy and you don’t have to stifle yourself ever again because you can let this held in energy out.
Laugh your head off instead at the craziness of life.
Needed that! Am screamimg with frustration – at myslef for getting ‘stuck’ and with something i voluteered to do which is proving tiresome . . .
Time to drop everything and get outside in the evening sun!
Pleased you’re going outside so you can enjoy the evening sun – always best to remove yourself from the situation – thanks for commenting, Jane, and trust you feel better now xx
I know that feeling really well. Stress gives me the feeling of wanting to scream. I do try to refocus my attention on something else when I get extremely stressed out. Great post!
Sounds good to me Irene, Laughing and embracing the craziness of life. 😀
