HOW DO YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE? SIMPLY, BY BEING YOURSELF
We tie ourselves up in knots trying to be something or someone we are not!! I don’t know why we do it (and, of course, include myself in here too) when we are just fine as we are.
I had this saying on my Facebook Timeline last year and it came around again so that’s why I am putting out this blog today –
“When you are living the best version of yourself, you inspire others to live the best versions of themselves” (Steve Maraboli)
Isn’t this what life is all about?? Well it is for me and hopefully for you.
Striving
I know for myself, and see and hear it from others – somehow we are not good enough, however, successful we are or not. Self-doubt is the name of the game!!
You and I have been striving again to be someone we are not!! This so-called Perfect Person – who is cool, calm and collected in any situation – can be stirred but not shaken!! We are so afraid of being found it as somehow lacking, we’d rather use our energy in covering ourselves up and keep playing this game!!
Read these words slowly and carefully so you take them in –
S T O P I T
Do it as many times as you need to until you stop doubting and begin to believe in yourself!!!
Imperfectly Perfect
My lovely daughter-in-law gave me a decoration (one of my Christmas presents a few years ago) which says –
Be Gorgeous
Shine Brightly
Love Life
My wish for you is that you let go of the Mask you use to hide yourself, and allow you to be seen as the Imperfectly Perfect person you are– allow yourself to be Visible with all of Yourself.
Life is what you make it and you can start right now by creating it instead of hiding, striving to be someone you are not, moaning about it, or whatever and be the best version of yourself – Shine Brightly.
You can make a difference – Simply by being Yourself xx
