Grace with Ease
I wrote this blog in April 1, 2014 (click here link to see the full blog) and totally forgot about it until I was getting this blog ready –
“We, as women, (and, of course, I would include men too) can so easily put our dreams, wishes or whatever you want to call it, aside and leave them on the back burner somewhere – all alone and forgotten or hidden away. Mine re-connected with me in a big way.
I was fortunate in that I allowed myself to do this in a group I attended. There was some beautiful music playing and we were sitting in a circle with our eyes closed. I was so touched by it, the atmosphere, the others and myself that I arose, took my beautiful scarf and silently moved to the other part of the room.
I stood, twirled, swayed and moved myself and my scarf in time to the rhythm of the music. I opened and closed my eyes when I felt like it. I was in heaven and I was allowing out my grace with ease purely for myself. I was listening to the sound of my own tune. I gave myself a gift from my heart.
I cried and my tears were tears of pure joy as this gift to myself was spontaneous – not planned. I was giving centre stage to what is inside me and allowing it out. Simply allowing my expression of grace out.
I am so, so fortunate that I gave this to myself regardless of any reaction or fears that I might have had. I was in the right place at the right time and I am also pleased to have been part of the space I was in.”
Grace with Ease
This has always been my mantra, particularly before I started working with individuals and groups.
I was never truly conscious why this was so whenever I went inside myself (simply by closing my eyes and having a moment or two with myself before starting work) and asked for help and support to be of service to the person or group.
I was so blessed to receive these words as I don’t ever remember asking for them. Then I read somewhere that ‘to be in grace’ means to submit to a voice greater than myself. Things began to fall into place for me.
Soul
I don’t really talk too much about re-connection with yourSelf (I can hear you who regularly read my Blogs say, ‘Not So!!’) when I have been speaking – okay outside of my Blogs – to others. And yet, I am all about being Visible.
Here I am coming clean – my work is about being of service to other(s) to enable them to re-connect with themselves – to be comfortable with themselves in this way. There are many people who are doing this also – men and women – who are realising that it is so important to listen to that inner spark – to the soul who is calling to us to be visible. We are so needed in these turbulent times to stand tall and connect with one another so we can stand firm, even when we are getting blown about in the turbulence of life.
Each of us helps in our own way in whatever manifestation and however we do that. My way is to keep standing tall and be visible when I speak about re-connection with yourSelf or Soul or your Heart and I see this as being courageous as it can go against the grain for some.
Visible
I guess I feel that it is time to be even more visible with my message and to listen to our hearts and re-connect with that vision of how our world can be whilst still acknowledging the gap between that and what’s happening at the moment.
It only needs one of us to help another within our own vicinity for that to spread, and, for each of us to do it in whatever way is right for us – in our own expression of ourSelf.

Love this sentiment Irene – For me it all stems from connection to self.
Exactly, Cathy, this is what it is all about – and thank you for commenting xxx
