I was recently asked via Karen Williams’ Facebook page “What legacy will you leave?” My quick response was “just how many lives I’ve made a difference to”. Many years ago, I wasn’t able to answer like that and cried deeply when I said “I don’t know”. I felt such a deep pain around the whole question of legacy.
Now I can say that I am my biggest supporter (or cheerleader)which has arisen with the help of others’ faith in me. I believe in myself just as I am. Some of life’s lessons have been painful, hard, fun and wonderful. I want you to remember that no matter what others may say about you or your work along the way, know that you were born to do something great and that you can make it happen.
It’s also okay that some people don’t click with you, walk past you or ignore you. You can choose to share your life with the genuine ones who are interested in your hopes, dreams and most of all, who celebrate you for being you.
Living in a way that is aligned with your Self ensures you’ll leave the greatest of legacies – lives impacted by your life. Help others to be the best they can be by giving them the best of you.
Everyone is important and born with a talent or gift to share, so embrace each other’s difference and support each other’s life and contributions to the world.
Dream big!
