Did you know that inspired = in-spirit? And so that means one is in spirit when inspired.
I didn’t, until I read it somewhere or other! And so for me when you are inspired you don’t have to be motivated from the outside. It says to me that you already have all you need to become self-motivated.
Many of us can forget what a wealth of experience and knowledge that can be tapped into in order to motivate ourselves to inspire others. Unfortunately, you can tap into what you were told about yourself when you were growing up You perhaps bought into the criticism or comments from others. Then this cycle repeats itself, as it is easier to buy into the lack of inspiration around you than to step into ‘the world is your oyster’ feeling.
When you are shy or perhaps introverted, you can make excuses that there is probably someone better able to be out there, rather than putting yourself forward. But it is the abilities of people like you which make the world go round.
So use whatever gifts or talents you have and be open to all the opportunities that come your way.
If none appear on the horizon, go get them, find them, make them happen. Be ready to give and receive of yourself. Shout it from the roof tops. I am here and I am willing to be visible as I have something to offer.
Think about it – what have you got to lose? You’ll win some and you’ll lose some. And the world will be poorer of you sharing your uniqueness with it.
Breathe into again that inner voice that says – ‘Life is an adventure and I still have so much to give and receive from being part of it’.
Finally, I’ll leave you with ‘You don’t know which way to turn? Don’t turn – go right ahead’.
