Well what are you taking from 2012 into 2013? What stood out for you over the past year? The ups, the downs and anything in between as you reflect on last year.
Remember you can leave events, things and even people behind, as well as take them with you. You have the choice to not spend any more time worrying about those life events that caused you so much anxiety, and simply let go of them instead. And think about all those things you have gratitude for – those wonderful happenings in your life, whether planned or by chance.
No need to make New Year resolutions that you’ll probably not keep anyway! Simply check with yourself each time you go to eat that extra mouthful, or buy something just because it’s reduced in the sale, or say “Yes” when actually you mean “No”. Ask yourself “Do I really want this?”, “Do I really need this?”.
It may be that you’re not listening to yourself – to your inner voice that gives you your wisdom, and instead are making choices out of habit. That pause to ask questions first then enables you to make YOUR real choice.
You do have a choice and can choose to be positive in your thoughts as well as your actions.
Keep taking those baby steps or giant leaps this year as you trust yourself and your dreams. You only grow old when you let go of your dreams.
You deserve the very best in life, so go on and be YOU in 2013.
