Some of us drink (tea, coffee or alcohol – take your pick); eat delicious food; do a form of exercise; watch funny movies; go on a course; and so on. You’ll know what it is you do when your sparkle is shining.
I found out one of my ways was to do different activities whilst on a long weekend break with the family. One of them was to go on a six-seater bicycle where we were supposed to pedal in unison. Of course this didn’t actually happen (maybe for a few minutes) and I ended up with a few bruises on the back of my leg. It was so much fun though with people, we slowly cycled passed, waving away at us, and us ringing our bicycle bell.
Another time, was when we went on a large rowing boat and went round in circles a few times. Plus, almost colliding with others on their good day out rowing. Again, everyone laughed or made some comments whenever there were these little mishaps.
These times, for me, were when the world and I connected in a loving, relaxed fashion. It also helped that the Glasgow area was bathed with lovely sunshine!
I, of course, like others, can sparkle when I’m on my own and being inspired by hearing a bird singing, reading a good book or feeling at peace with life.
All of the above are to do with when I’m connected with myself and/or connected with others. This is when I get my sparkle as I am aligned with myself.
I trust you are not allowing your shine to be dimmed, and instead are letting us see you sparkling away!
