Following on from my blog last week when I spoke about that wonderful community feeling we can get when we are with a crowd, I am so excited as I am off to join my Psychosynthesis colleagues from around the world. Our 4 day Conference is being held in Rome. This will be one large gathering of like-minded people, and I’ll be meeting up with old and new colleagues – learning, attending workshops, having discussions, and then socially – chatting, eating, laughing and generally being merry. It will be time out for relaxation and reflection.
Whilst there, I’ll be re-connecting with my past, seeing how it has affected the present and stretching myself whilst holding that smile within – that re-building of self-confidence. I know that I am grateful for all that I’ve received when I look back on my life from today’s standpoint.
Don’t we all want to be caught up in the ebb and flow of life – to know that we matter, that we still count? These basic human needs don’t diminish with the years for any of us! That’s why I am so looking forward to the time spent there.
What about you? Are you enjoying the company of those who make you laugh? Those who want to try out new things? Those who are willing to take risks? And most importantly, those who will support and encourage you to have belief in yourself?
It’s not what you do differently that’ll change your life. It’s what you believe about yourself. Remember to believe in yourself.
Finally, I leave you with these wise words, “Most people are about as happy in life as they make up their minds to be” – Abraham Lincoln.
Your Choice – Over to You. Do you believe in yourself?
