Simplicity Of Words
This week I have decided to put out a simple blog – although I feel it is quite profound and important in the world today.
Brexit
At times, most of us can feel a little overwhelmed, discouraged, angry and helpless – particularly here in the U.K. with the craziness that is happening with BREXIT (have you ever experienced anything like it?) never mind anything that may be happening in our personal life.
Simplicity of Words
Before you get pulled down, confused, or upset, I’d love you to take time out and let in the words I came across somewhere or another over the years. I hope you like the words because they are so simple.
ONE
One tree can start a forest;
One smile can begin a friendship;
One hand can lift a soul;
One word can wipe out darkness;
One laugh can conquer gloom;
One hope can raise our spirits;
One touch can show you care;
One life can make a difference;
Be that one today.
Perhaps one of the lines has particularly struck home or perhaps the whole poem has. Whatever you choose, I hope you breathe deeply into them.
Finally, as I’ve said, I am really touched with the simplicity of the poem and so let it be a reminder of how someone can create something simple – not complicated – and we can let it be in our hearts.
Don’t try so hard! Go Well.
